Get your service token

In the ParsChat panel, open your robot and go to Service. Create a widget service, or open an existing one, and copy its token.

Install the plugin

Either:

  • search for the ParsChat plugin on your WordPress Plugins page and install it, or
  • upload the plugin files to /wp-content/plugins.

Then activate it from the Plugins page.

Enter the token

In your WordPress admin menu, open Parschat. Paste the token you copied into the field.

Register

Click Register. The plugin now adds the widget to every page of your site, with no theme edits needed.

Check it

Open your site. The chat widget should appear in the corner of the page.

The widget doesn’t appear

  • Make sure the plugin is activated.
  • Make sure the token was pasted correctly, with no extra spaces.
  • Clear your caching plugin so cached pages are refreshed.

Appearance is set in ParsChat

The widget’s look, colour and position are controlled from the ParsChat panel, not the plugin. See Widget appearance.
