# Auto messages

> Show a message automatically to visitors on specific pages of your site.

Auto messages open the widget with a message when a visitor lands on a page you choose, for
example an offer on your pricing page. They are managed on the **Auto Message** tab of your widget’s settings
(open your robot → **Service** → the gear icon on your widget’s card).

## Add a message

#### Open the form

Click **Add Message**. The **Add New Message** window opens.

#### Choose the page

In **Page URL**, enter the page the message belongs to, for example `/products`.

#### Choose how the address is matched

Under **Page Display Options**:

* **Equals to**: only that exact address.
* **Contains**: every page whose address contains the text.

To show the message across a whole section of your site, choose **Contains**.

#### Write the message

Fill in **Message Title** and **Message Content**. The content is what the visitor reads.

#### Set the timing and frequency

Choose the **delay** before the message appears: **immediately**, or after **3, 5, 10 or 15 seconds**.

Then choose how often a visitor sees it:

* **Only Once**: each visitor sees it one time.
* **Every Visit**: it appears again on every visit.

#### Save

Click **Save**, or **Cancel** to close without saving. The panel confirms with
*"Auto message settings saved successfully"*.

## Manage your messages

Saved messages are listed in a table with the message text, **Delay**, **Display Count** and page
address.

To remove one, click **Delete** and confirm in the **Delete Auto Message** dialog.
